The Internet seems to run just about everything these days. Yep, everything from buying a stamp to firing a nuclear missile. The uses are endless, and so are the possibilities. Example: A musician records an album and puts it out on the market. There’s no more work for the musician in producing the album. Although the musician may be involved in promoting the album, the income from the sale of the album will keep rolling in until it gets discontinued. Elvis is still selling albums btw.  The album could go on and make millions for the musician without them lifting another finger. That’s residual income.

Who wouldn’t want to set up an income generator that works like that? In reality, any business can be that way, sortof. You can build any business to run without you and keep paying you a check, but traditional business structure makes it difficult to do in a short time frame.
